Manchester United (5-2-4) will travel to Watford (3-1-7) for a Saturday morning matchup at 10 am EST. United has struggled recently including two beatdowns from Liverpool and Manchester United who they are expected to compete against. They find themselves in sixth with 17 points and 9 points off of the leaders in Chelsea.
Watford fell to Arsenal in their last game 1-0 and have struggled to find their way against teams that overpower them. They will be hoping to take advantage of a Manchester United team that is continuing to search for their direction and identity. Watford has nothing to lose playing at home against a team out of sorts.
Manchester United are the favorites to win this matchup on the road. The moneyline for the Red Devils to win is -200 and +550 for Watford. The odds of a draw are +370. The odds for Cristiano Ronaldo to score first last and anytime are +250, +250, and -135, respectively.
United are dealing with a multitude of injuries with some of their top players including Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane who have been ruled out. Scott McTominay, Luke Shaw, and Edinson Cavani are doubtful to play in the game.

Watford is also dealing with many injuries and a suspension. Kwadwo Baah, Peter Etebo, Kem Sema, and Christian Kabasele are all out due to injury and Juraj Kucka is on a suspension.
Expected Starting Eleven – Manchester United
De Gea will start in goal and will need to be alert as the defense will look much different due to injuries. The backline should be Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, and Telles with both Varane and Shaw out. Expect Watford to get some good goal scoring opportunities with this back-line playing.
The midfield should look different, as well, with Donny Van de Beek expected to start in place of the injured Pogba and McTominay. United may go with Fred to help out with the defense and then, will round out the middle with Bruno Fernandes.
Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, and Cristiano Ronaldo are expected to play up top with the recent lineups that Ole Solskjaer has put out on the field. These three will be very important especially with the liabilities on defense. Expect a few goals out of this top three going against an overmatched defense.
Ronaldo is coming off an underwhelming performance by Portugal in World Cup Qualifiers to send them to a playoff. He may let off some steam with a masterful performance and get a goal or two.
I could see this game going one of two ways: either Watford puts away an early goal and parks the bus to sneak out of the game-winning 1-0 or it is a back and forth game with multiple defensive lapses, but United is able to put more goals away. I want to believe that the latter of the two will be the case for the sake of Manchester United and the future for Ole Solskjaer.
You never know with this United team especially dealing with the number of injuries that they have.
