United does not appear as a threat to the revitalized Manchester City anywhere on the field, so the game should go to City again. United has improved its performance but still needs to achieve the desired results. City can overrun any opponent, so it would not be surprising if they don’t win this one.

Manchester United and the rest of the world have come together to remember and celebrate Sir Bobby Charlton’s life. The legendary Manchester United midfielder passed away last week at 86. A memorial plaque was erected outside of Old Trafford in his honor.

Erik Ten Hag’s United have had a difficult start to the season on the field. However, they have won three consecutive games across all competitions and are making it work.

The reigning Premier League champions, Manchester City, will face Manchester United in an exciting Super Sunday match at Old Trafford.

Erling Braut Haaland has resumed scoring after a brief drought. Rodri and John Stones’ return from injury has bolstered Manchester City’s strength.

The afternoon will be crucial for both Manchester squads. City must win to maintain its lead over Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, who are also vying for the title.

United with their struggles currently sit eighth, but they stepped up their game by defeating Copenhagen 1-0. The Red Devils defeated FC Copenhagen with goals from Harry Maguire and Andre Onana, saving a late penalty kick.

The club has won three consecutive games. They will be hopeful for a significant victory on derby day to help them climb the rankings.

On the other hand, City appears to be in excellent condition. They defeated Young Boys 3-1 on Wednesday after defeating Brighton 2-1.

Manchester City Favorites Heading into the Derby

Aguero believes Manchester United will put up a challenge against his former club on Sunday at 3.30 pm at Old Trafford.

The Argentine scored 260 goals for City, which is a club record. He scored eight goals in 13 Premier League matches and has fond recollections of the Manchester derbies. Aguero also tallied seven goals in those Premier League contests, contributing to seven victories for his team.

Erling Haaland is warming up and gaining momentum in his goal-scoring abilities. His matchups with Maguire and Varane should be spectacular.

Rodri must also perform admirably in the center of the field to prevent Bruno Fernandes from having an effect. Foden, Grealish, Alvarez, and the rest of Guardiola’s talented attackers could all begin.

Except for Kevin de Bruyne, they have had few injuries because Guardiola has been able to rotate most of his team. Additionally, they have won four of the last six Manchester derbies, so they should feel reasonably happy about this game.

Manchester United desires to remain in this game for as long as possible. United stunned City last year by winning this game at Old Trafford. However, this is a tall order because they have been performing poorly and injured for a long time.

Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, and Tyrell Malacia are all out of Manchester United’s defensive squad. Casemiro, suspended for the Champions League victory against Copenhagen, could return.

The odds suggest that City will defeat United on Sunday afternoon. On the other hand, pundits believe it will be a more entertaining derby.
