The Premier League season is winding down soon and gives fans a season to remember. There was so much to unload from this season. When breaking down the top players this season, all the top players were either Manchester City or Arsenal.

Here’s my list of Top 5 Premier League players in no particular order:

Erling Haaland

Haaland might’ve produced one of the greatest Premier League seasons in Europe ever. What he’s been able to provide for his team and the league is truly exceptional. Haaland currently leads the league in goals with 32. The record for most goals in a season is 34, Haaland has a great chance to tie or break this record.

Haaland will be a vital piece for the sport as a whole. His impact on the game is important and shows the advancement of talent. Haaland will rightfully deserve to hold the PFA Player of the Season this year for a fantastic season.

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka has been one of the most impressive players this season. He has proven to be one of the best wingers this year in the world. His impressive season includes 12 goals and providing 10 assists.

Saka has proven to be a leader and shown maturity for this young Arsenal squad. The work he’s been able to provide has helped his side stay afloat in the Top 2 for this year. I believe if Arsenal want to continue a successful future, signing Saka to a long-term deal is essential.

Martin Ødegaard

Arsenal’s young captain had himself the best season of his career. Proving this season that he is one of the best Attacking Midfielders, Ødegaard is truly a special talent. His leadership role has proven him to be a great captain so far and allows more years of success to continue.

Ødegaard has scored 11 goals and assisted 8 so far this season. His goal scoring tally is among the highest for a Midfielder this season. More so, he has claimed himself to be one of the best players in the Premier League and should see more years of prime talent.

Kevin De Bruyne

Kevin De Bruyne has stayed at the top of this list year after year. After another successful season, De Bruyne solidified his legacy as one of the greatest Premier League players ever. Scoring 5 goals and leading the league with 15 assists proved to be a great season for the Belgian Midfielder.

Having a player like Erling Haaland has also proven to be vital for his assist tally. De Bruyne surely has had a few more years of playing at such a high level. Overall, he has proven to have one of the most complete Premier League careers a player can have.

Gabriel Martinelli

The young Brazilian Winger has turned into one of the finest Wingers in the game. After signing a long-term extension in February, Martinelli has roared.

Currently, Martinelli has scored 14 goals and assisted 5 so far this season. He has emerged as one of the top players this season for Arsenal.
