Tottenham Hotspur have officially parted ways with manager Antonio Conte, and they will be set to hire a new manager, likely after the season is over. This hiring will be crucial, as Tottenham are in an important time in the history of their club, as they have seen themselves reach the highest of highs in recent years but have not been able to get back to that since the firing of Mauricio Pochettino.
Tottenham have seen the likes of Arsenal overtake them, but have also seen the downfall of Chelsea and Liverpool, and need to hire the correct manager so that they are closer to their arch-rivals than Chelsea or Liverpool.
Julian Nagelsmann
Julian Nagelsmann is the top name for betting odds to be the next manager of Tottenham. It seems all too much of a coincidence that Conte was let go just hours after Nagelsmann was officially fired from Bayern Munich.
Nagelsmann is one of the most talented managers in the world, and it came as a shock to many that Bayern let him go when they were just one point off of the Bundesliga lead and in the quarterfinals of the Champions League, set to face Manchester City. Now Nagelsmann will be the top choice for most teams needing a manager this summer, so the quicker Tottenham can wrap up a deal with the manager, the better for their future.
Mauricio Pochettino
There are consistent talks of Tottenham and Mauricio Pochettino having a reunion once again. Tottenham’s best era was under manager Mauricio Pochettino. He managed from 2014 to 2019, taking them to a Champions League final, before having a disappointing beginning of the season in 2019 and ultimately being let go for manager Jose Mourinho.
Tottenham have not looked like the same team since letting go of Pochettino, and so many players and fans have come out to compliment Pochettino, and a reunion would be unshocking, as Pochettino was let go by PSG in the summer of 2022, and has not managed a club since.
Thomas Frank
Thomas Frank has proven to do wonders at Brentford, and a promotion up to Tottenham would not be shocking. Frank has developed a system that has truly embraced quick and direct pressing and has utilized wingers and strikers that have a ton of talent, like Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbuemo. Giving him the weapons of Son Heung-min and Harry Kane will be an abundance of supplies that he has never seen the likes of. If he is able to implement what he did at Brentford with much better talent, he could turn Tottenham into a force in the Premier League.
Roberto De Zerbi
Many people thought when Chelsea hired Graham Potter from Brighton that, the Seagulls would struggle. However, Roberto De Zerbi has kept Brighton on track and has surprised the world with how great of a tactical manager he is. He very well could see a level up this summer, as Tottenham would have to be incredibly intriguing for the promising manager.
