Franchise History

This franchise began in 1937 in Cleveland. The team lasted for six years and struggled. They disbanded due to World War II. In 1946, the team got back together but it was in Los Angeles. They signed two Aftican American players which was a big deal then.

They won four NFL division titles in seven seasons and won a championship in 1951. The crowds were huge with almost 80.000 fans watching Norm Van Brocklin an Elroy “Crazylegs” Hirsch play at the Coliseum.

In 1972, the Baltimore franchise traded and took control of the Rams. In 1995 the team moved again and this time to St Louis to play at the Edward Jones Dome with Dick Vermeil as the head coach.

The St. Louis Rams became Super Bowl XXXIV in 1999 and the coach retired. Mike Martz was hired to replace him. In 2016, Owner Stan Kroenke pulled a fast one on the St Louis community and left to return to Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Rams Betting- Looking at the Numbers

Todd Gurley is gone and Cam Akers from Florida State is the new running back in LA. Darrel Henderson returns for his second season as a ball carrier but he doesn’t seem to be ready. Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods will hand the bulk of the receiving from quarterback Jared Goff.

He regressed lst year as the top passer on the squad and will need a bounce back season for this team to go anywhere in the postseason.
