UFC Fight Night Gane vs Rozenstruik: Ciryl Gane #7 (Heavyweight) will be facing Jairzinho Rozenstruik #3 in Las Vegas this weekend. Gane may only have three years of experience in the UFC Octagon but he’s a former Muay Thai champion. He has also excelled in kickboxing in his professional career.

On the other hand, Rozenstruik has competed in over 80 professional bouts by winning the SLAMM Soema Na Basi championship three times, WLF (Wu Lin Feng) championship, and won the DangerZone world kickboxing championship. It is difficult to overlook the fact that Rozenstruik is a knockout specialist.

Ciryl Gane may not have as much experience as the other Heavyweight fighters in the top 15. With that being said, he is very technical in the octagon. He has transitioned very well to MMA as he is very proficient in many aspects of fighting.

He can attack from a variety of angles with kicks, knees, elbows, and fists. He burst onto the scene by submitting Raphael Pessoa in his UFC debut and has surprised many fans with three of his seven victories coming via submission.

Coming off a quick second-round KO against Junior Dos Santos, he is proving why is a problem in the division. He has yet to lose in the UFC (4-0) and (7-0) in his professional career. He looks to continue that in the APEX this weekend and represent France in a big way.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik is also a newcomer in the UFC as he has five fights under his belt. He holds the record for the second-fastest knockout record in UFC heavyweight history with a 9 second KO vs Allen Crowder. He also has a background in Muay Thai and kickboxing.

Just like his opponent this Saturday, Rozentruik also defeated Junior Dos Santos two fights ago via a second-round KO.His one loss came in UFC #249 against Francis Nnganou in a quick 20-second defeat via KO. Rozenstrik has the threat to end a fight with one dangerous counter hook.

For example, Alistar Overeem was able to outscore Rozenstruik through the first twenty minutes of their fight. All of a sudden in the fifth and final round, the Suriname native landed his dangerous counter hook which shocked the UFC. Overeem needed just needed to hold for 4 more seconds to win the fight via decision.

Rozenstruik and Gane are no strangers to a standup war, and this is what he will get against Gane. Will Gane continues his unbeaten streak or will Rozenstruik land a hook. Either one of these fighters can win this bout; however, it is hard not to take Rozenstruik with what Derrick Lewis did last week as the underdog.

Prediction: Jairzinho Rozenstruik to win +230
