There’s no event quite like the WWE SummerSlam. It’s happened every year since 1988, and it’s one of the largest wrestling events in the world. This year’s SummerSlam is just as anticipated as any of these events have been in the past, and there are lots of great names for you to place your bets on.
This year, the WWE SummerSlam 2022 will take place on July 30. Currently, there are three different events that sports bettors can put their money on. These include the Undisputed Universal Title Match (otherwise known as the “Last Man Standing” match), Logan Paul vs The Miz, and Pat McAfee vs Baron Corbin.
Each of these matches is sure to be entertaining and exciting, and we’ll give you a rundown of each one, as well as who you can expect to win based on current moneylines. Let’s take a look at each event.
Last Man Standing
The Last Man Standing Match, or the Undisputed Universal Title Match, is probably the event that most WWE fans are looking forward to. This is a fight between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, and both men are extremely powerful fighters. The match starts on July 30 at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, so make sure you’re free.
Currently, the odds are favoring Roman Reigns at 10-19. Brock Lesnar has odds of 29-20. Roman Reigns has been sitting at the top of the WWE for quite some time, so it makes sense that he would be favored, but there’s always a chance that Lesnar could take him down.
Logan Paul v The Miz
Another match that viewers can place their bets on is Logan Paul vs The Miz. With his interesting career path, a Logan Paul match is always fun to watch. The two teamed up at Wrestlemania last year, but it looks like they’ll be turning on each other at WWE SummerSlam 2022.
Currently, Logan Paul is favored to win with odds 2-9. The Miz faces odds of 11-4, but what happens in the ring is unpredictable. The Miz has more experience in the WWE, as Logan Paul is a new signee, and this experience might help him out quite a bit.
Pat McAfee vs Happy Corbin
The final event for WWE enthusiasts to place their bets on is the Pat McAfee vs Happy Corbin match. This match should be pretty interesting, as Corbin promised to take down McAfee earlier this summer, and McAfee laughed right in his face. We’ll see if that rage helps Corbin come out on top.
Currently, the odds sit at 5-12 with McAfee as the winner. The odds for Happy Corbin are 33-20, but there’s always the chance that he could use the anger shown at the Last Laugh Match to help him defeat McAfee.
Writer’s Pick
This writer goes with Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed Universal Title Match. It will probably be a close one, but Roman Reign is a powerhouse, and I think he can take on Brock Lesnar anyday.
